The CG-1 Single Channel Video Camera Guard supervises signal continuity from CCTV cameras or video sources to ensure they are functioning properly. It continuously monitors and displays a "video on" condition of a camera or video source to alert users that the system is functioning. The CG-1 system can identify the loss of a video signal from camera removal, loss of power, disconnected camera cables, or defective monitor.
USE IN CCTV SYSTEMS

The CG-1 can detect the tampering or failure of video cameras right when it happens. This can reduce problems incurred when there is an extended or undetected loss of security in the area. This device can send an alarm or activate any equipment if a video failure occurs using the programmable contacts.
NORMALLY OPEN OR NORMALLY CLOSED ALARM CONTACTS
Normally open or normally closed contacts are included with this product. They are programmable for either contact mode to connect to a variety of other devices or systems.
LOOP THROUGH INPUT
The CG-1 has a "loop-through input" feature that will not impact the quality or level of a camera's picture. It can be configured to detect the loss of video sync or white level to indicate if the camera, lens, coaxial cable or transmission system has been tampered with in any way.
